LaJuana is an Inclusion Advocate and owner of Tapestry Solutions for Inclusion, helping organizations create thriving environments.
Lajuana began her career out of college with Xerox Corporation. Compared to most companies at the time, Xerox was very progressive with their diversity and inclusion activities. They were one of the first companies to have employee resource groups. Lajuana spent over 20 years with this organization and belonged to and actually held leadership positions in many of the employee resource groups. After leaving Xerox, and pursuing a real estate career in Oak Park Illinois, another that embraced diversity, she realized how important this subject matter of inclusion was to her core values. Lajuana completed her studies to be certified as a human resource professional, completed coursework through the Society of Diversity for diversity practitioners, and worked for (and still consults with one) two leading diversity and inclusion firms. She saw a niche market for her services that the consulting firms business models did not fit or were not their bread and butter – and that was the need for interactive workshops for inclusion strategies that were affordable for small to mid size organizations that could not afford the larger diversity firms, and even for large organizations looking to do things at a local level or as a follow on to other diversity and inclusion training. Her topics on Gender Communication- The Young and the Rest of Us, LGBT Communication- That’s So Straight, Communication in the Work Place – My Co Workers Say the Darndest things, and more make for a great lunch and learn series or leadership series. F. C. Tucker now includes her modules in their Tucker University Series where her classes have had to be double booked because of the popularity, and have been added as part of orientation for all new agents. LaJuana is the mother of two sons who are the loves of her life, Jordan and Colby, and her chocolate lab Ms. Bailey. To book LaJuana Warren call +1.888.200.9387 or email email@example.com
